All of us experience anxiety, however, some cases are considered severe, thus need to be treated. Not everyone is depressed though. Those who suffer from depression feel extreme sadness and are unmotivated most of the time. These people also tend to have very low mental energy and feel hopeless most of the time. Anxiety is forced by exhilaration while depression is forced by lethargy.

Here are some ways that I was able to beat attack anxiety and depression and ultimately beat them both.

Start Living Healthy - I was able to learn one important thing when I was depressed and experiencing anxiety attacks. I came to a conclusion that this feeling was killing me and I want to end it. By doing some research, I found out a great way to relieve this feeling—through exercise.

In addition to exercise, I also decided to eat healthier meals. So I picked up some books on healthy eating and started eating more fruits and veggies, cutting out fried and fast food.

As expected, I felt better after a few months.

Surround Yourself with Your Amazing Friends and Family – I know the feeling of wanting to be alone when you are depressed, but try to go out and hang out with friends even when you are depressed. Having great friends around you will make you feel lighter and happier, thus you should do this more often.

Join a support group - The best people to understand your situation are the ones experiencing the same situations as you do.

You can encourage each other and share advice on ways you cope with your depression and anxiety.
